Welcome to Magnolia. By accessing or using Magnolia's website, mobile application, or related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Services.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Magnolia. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

2. Description of Services

Magnolia provides tools designed to help individuals and couples organize financial goals, budgeting plans, savings objectives, and related financial planning activities. Magnolia is intended for informational and planning purposes only. Magnolia does not provide banking services, investment services, legal advice, tax advice, accounting advice, or financial advisory services.

3. User Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account information up to date.

4. Couple and Shared Accounts

Magnolia may allow users to connect with a partner and share information. Users are solely responsible for determining what information they choose to share with another user. Magnolia is not responsible for disputes, misunderstandings, or decisions arising from information shared between users.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for unlawful purposes
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or account
  • Interfere with the operation of the Services
  • Upload malicious code or harmful content
  • Use the Services to harass, abuse, or harm others
  • Reverse engineer or copy the Services without authorization

6. Subscription Services

Certain features may require a paid subscription. Subscription pricing, billing terms, and renewal terms will be disclosed before purchase. Subscriptions may automatically renew unless canceled in accordance with applicable platform policies.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, logos, software, designs, features, and functionality of Magnolia are owned by Magnolia and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant any ownership rights to users.

8. User Content

You retain ownership of information and content you submit to Magnolia. By submitting content, you grant Magnolia a limited license to store, process, and display such content solely for the purpose of operating the Services.

9. No Financial Advice

Magnolia is not a financial advisor. Any information, projections, recommendations, calculations, or planning tools provided through the Services are for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional financial advice. Users should consult qualified professionals before making financial decisions.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Magnolia makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the reliability, accuracy, availability, or suitability of the Services. Use of the Services is at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Magnolia shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Services. Magnolia's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for use of the Services during the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

Magnolia may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Users may stop using the Services at any time. Termination does not relieve users of obligations incurred before termination.

13. Modifications

Magnolia may modify these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with applicable laws without regard to conflict of law principles.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Magnolia regarding use of the Services and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
